Miller Park is a fundraiser offered for teams at WAC. Each coach selects their games and then finds 10 volunteers to work the games. Teams receive 10% of the profits after taxes and shortages. This money goes directly to the team, to use as the coach decides. Last year the games averaged almost $900!
The Booster Club is working Opening Day, 4/2 ,and 5/4. This money will be used towards the mezzanine addition in the weightroom. Please consider working one of these events.
Prior to working at Miller Park, volunteers must be trained. The next training for WAC is 03/03, at 10:00 am or 1:00 pm, and also on 04/21 at 1:30 pm. Please call Colleen, 443-0729, to reserve your spot. This training is open to anyone, parents, friends, relatives, or alumni, 18 years or older. Training will take place at Miller Park. Park in the east lot. Enter under the North Loading Dock (this is under TGI Fridays). You will be directed to the training area. You will be not admitted if you arrive later than 15 minutes.
